The Railway Viaduct that Closed after 18 Months! The Midland Railway Mansfield to Southwell Line
In this video i walk the Midland Railway Mansfield to Southwell Railway. I begin at Mansfield and the often unknown or forgotten Drury Dam Viaduct - the neighbour of the long demolished Quarry Lane Railway Viaduct. Its hard to believe there was 3 railway viaducts in Mansfiled inclusing the Mansfield Town Centre Mansfield Viaduct.
Moving on i follow the old railway line as best as i can, leaving Mansfield behind and pushing on towards Oak Tree & eventually Rainworth. There is a lot to see although a few diversions too.
