HD Full Day Of Railfanning Pan Am! Rigby Yard + District 1 & 2 Action! 7/20/2014

A great day railfanning, with CSX power, lots of power at Rigby and recently painted MEC 515 on the point of RUPO!

0:00 - Filmed from my house - POSE gets a Form D out of Rigby Yard just before sunrise. District 2 was coming in exceptionally clear on my scanner from my house that night so just thought I'd add this clip. This POSE would be meeting SEPO around Surf (CPF 211). SEPO also had CSX power, that being CSX 957 - CSX 789.

0:58 - Rigby Yard in South Portland Maine.
Track 217: CSX 957 - CSX 789 - MEC 382 - MEC 502.
Track 107: MEC 518. (NS 3468 - MEC 603 - MEC 612 had just pulled off and were waiting under the Rt. 1 Bridge for Amtrak 691 to clear, so they could head down the bypass to get to the west end of the yard to get their train. (POED)
House Track - GMTX 3001 (PO-4) - B&M 333 - MEC 377.

The day before's RUPO was tied down on the 2 Side over Broadway Street, just east of CPF 199 with MEC 516 - MEC 307.

1:59 - WAPO's Power: MEC 321 - NS 3470 - MB&M 326 - MEC 505 heads up the bypass after POED's Power had gone down. B&M 326 - MEC 321 will be used later in the afternoon for PORU.

2:47 - We hear POED 612 get the ok out of Rigby from District 2 Dispatcher.

3:08 - Amtrak Downeaster Train 694 roars past Winnock's Neck Road in Scarborough Maine w/ AMTK 90224 - AMTK 102.

3:26 - POED heads westbound across Winnock's Neck Road in Scarborough Maine w/ MEC 612 - MEC 603 - NS 3468.

5;16 - Amtrak Downeaster Train 693 files east w/ AMTK 72 - AMTK 90214.

5:38 - We go North in hopes of finding RUPO 515 - but first find PORU w/ B&M 326 - MEC 321 headed east over Great Falls Trestle, crossing over the Androscoggin River from Auburn into Lewiston Maine.

6:26 - It looks like PORU is stoping at the red signal at Fairgrounds East, so we head to the next crossing up the line; Stetson Road to wait for RUPO. It comes along within an hour or so, w/ MEC 515 - MEC 504 and a fairly short train.

7:28 - We hear RUPO and PORU get their Form D's from District 1.

10:37 - PORU 326 crosses Stetson Road after the meet with RUPO 515.

12:08 - RUPO 515 crosses Allied Road in Auburn Maine.

14:10 - RUPO comes through Danville Jct. Maine. No work to do in Danville for them on this evening, only a brief stop to look at some cars.

15:31 - RUPO makes pretty good speed westbound across Rt. 231 in New Gloucester Maine at dusk.
