Today I’m sharing a fragrant and flavorful dish – Cumin Roasted Chicken Legs 🔥
With a simple marinade and a quick bake, the rich aroma of cumin will fill your kitchen in no time!

Ingredients
Chicken legs: 5
Garlic: 6 cloves
Ginger: 3 slices
Cooking wine: 2 tbsp
Dark soy sauce: 1 tbsp
Light soy sauce: 4 tbsp
Oyster sauce: 1 tbsp
Chili powder: 1 tbsp
Cumin powder: 1 tbsp
Honey: 2 tbsp
Honey water: as needed (mix 2 tbsp honey + 4 tbsp water)
Salt: 1 g
Instructions
Step 1. Soak the chicken legs in lightly salted water for 15 minutes.
This helps remove excess liquid and any unwanted odor.
Rinse well with clean water and drain.
Step 2. Make a few cuts on each chicken leg to help the seasoning penetrate.
Step 3. Mince the garlic and set aside.
Step 4. Marinate the chicken legs with minced garlic, ginger slices, cooking wine,
light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, chili powder, cumin powder, and a pinch of salt.
Step 5. Massage the marinade thoroughly into the chicken for a few minutes.
Cover and marinate for at least 3 hours, or refrigerate overnight for deeper flavor.
Step 6. Line a baking tray with foil and place a rack on top.
Arrange the chicken legs on the rack.
Bake at 170°C (340°F) for 7 minutes. Remove, brush with honey water,
and bake for another 8 minutes. Remove again, flip the chicken,
brush with honey water, and bake for a final 15 minutes at the same temperature.
Bake on the middle rack for even cooking.
Tips
Adjust baking time and temperature according to your oven.
Bake a little less for a tender result, or a bit longer for a deeper char.
Seasonings can be tweaked to your taste.

做法
第1步,鸡腿放入盐水中浸泡15分钟,盐水的密度促使血水自动析出,可以有效去血水和去腥,15分钟后捞出鸡腿,再用清水将鸡腿洗干净;
第2步,鸡腿上划几刀,方便入味;
第3步,蒜头切成蒜末,备用;
第4步,腌制鸡腿,分别放入蒜末、姜片、料酒、生抽、老抽、耗油、蜂蜜、辣椒粉、孜然粉、少许盐;
第5步,用手抓匀,多抓一会,方便入味,随后腌制3小时以上,放入冰箱冷藏一夜更入味;
第6步,烤盘铺上锡纸,放一个烤架,烤架上摆上鸡腿,170 度先烤7分钟后拿出鸡腿,刷上蜂蜜水,再放入烤箱170度烤8分钟,再拿出来翻面刷上蜂蜜水, 再放入烤箱烤17度15分钟就好啦,鸡腿放在烤箱中层烤哦~

烤箱温度、烘烤时间请根据自家烤箱脾气调整,,喜欢吃嫩的少烤一会, 喜欢焦的多烤
会, 调味可以根据自己口味调整。
