Following the success of the Blue Ghost Mission 1 lunar landing, Firefly Aerospace is preparing for the launch of Blue Ghost Mission 2 in 2026. The latest piece of that mission is also a new product offering for Firefly to potential customers, like NASA, the Department of Defense and the private sector. It's a high-resolution imaging service called Ocula, which will debut on BGM2. As Firefly CEO Jason Kim explains, it's designed to go beyond the capabilities of NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), which launched in June 2009.
