As I arrived at Nelson Mandela Square, I was still on the hunt for breakfast. That’s when a security guard stepped up and offered to show me around — and just like that, I had an unofficial tour guide.
What followed was an unexpected walk-and-talk across the square and mall as we tried to find the perfect spot to eat.
