Eurorack Ambient for Meditation | 03

Just got back to LA after a couple of trips. Life's getting more hectic but I'm thoroughly enjoying it, these days I think I'm in a phase where I'm trying to embrace whatever happens in my life. This one was recorded back in Korea, took a moment of stillness while dealing with all the life stuff.

To share a bit of back story (for synth friends), Mutable Instruments' Tides was the module that got me into the whole modular stuff. The concept that an LFO becomes an OSC with the ratios defining the intervals, which means all the frequencies are continuously connected beyond our perceptive understanding, was one of the most fascinating things I came across ever since I started music. Even though I thought it to be fascinating, I've never really used it for my own records or anything. But for this one I went full in and think I've got some meaningful sounds. Since the LFOs are divided by whole-number ratios, the chords follow just intonation, which I think makes it special.
