The Bhavonopanishad is a profound and esoteric text from the Shakta tradition, particularly revered by Sri Vidya upasakas. It is one of the minor Upanishads and belongs to the Atharva Veda. This Upanishad offers a deeply symbolic and philosophical interpretation of the Sri Chakra, the sacred geometric representation of the Divine Mother


About the Instructor: Shri. Sankara Devarakonda:

SVTS Volunteer and Sri Vidya Upasaka for over 15 years and can often be seen leading Temple pujas and homas on Saturdays and during various festivals. In the last several years, he has taken an active role in teaching and sharing his detailed knowledge of Sanskrit, Sri Vidya, and the performance of various types of homas and pujas.



The Sri Vidya Temple is an entirely volunteer-run "Learning Temple" that is dedicated to Sri Rajarajeswari Devi. Our mission is to encourage all devotees and seekers to join in and worship with their own hands, to learn the sacred practices of Sri Vidya and Sanatana Dharma, and to experience the divine blessings of Sri Devi in their own lives.
