New AIRBUS H160 - the most advanced civil helicopter ever made!

Introducing the new Airbus H160, the world’s most technologically advanced helicopter, designed and built to deliver the highest levels of operational safety, while providing unmatched comfort in its class.

With prices starting from 18 million US dollars, the new Airbus H160 can accommodate 2 pilots and up to 12 passengers in one of the most luxurious helicopter cabins ever produced.

The new helicopter is powered by two Safran Helicopter Arrano 1A engines, delivering a total power of 955 kilowatts at takeoff, and a useful load of 2000 kilograms

With the standard fuel tanks, it provides a maximum range of 890 kilometers, and a maximum endurance time of 4 hours and 30 minutes, flying with a recommended cruising speed of 255 kilometers per hour.

Airbus H160 takes advantage of several advanced manufacturing technologies and materials, allowing it to be lighter and to have a more efficient design.

One weight-saving measure was the replacement of conventional hydraulic landing gear and brakes with electrical counterparts, being the first helicopter in the world to do so.

Other innovations include the Airbus-developed Helionix avionics suite for reduced pilot workload, the canted Fenestron for greater useful load and a flat attitude in flight, and sound-reducing Blue Edge rotor blades for quieter operations.

The new H160 is one of the most versatile helicopters in the world, being offered in multiple configurations. It can be used for offshore transportation, medical emergency services, or for public services, meeting the most demanding customer needs.
