بلوط، نادر افشار نادری، ۱۳۴۷ Baloot (Oak), 1968

مستند بلوط (۱۳۴۷) ساخته دکتر نادر افشار نادری یکی از مهم‌ترین آثار در سینمای مردم‌نگاری ایران است. دکتر نادر افشار نادری، مردم‌شناس برجسته ایرانی، آثار دیگری نیز در زمینه قوم‌پژوهی ایران ساخته است. این فیلم بخشی از طرح مطالعه جامع اجتماعی ایالات کهگیلویه بود که با نظارت او و همکاری گروهی از پژوهشگران انجام شد. نتیجه این تحقیقات در ۹ جلد کتاب منتشر گردید.

این مستند صرفاً یک اثر تصویری نیست، بلکه ابزاری برای ثبت و حفظ میراث فرهنگی مردم ایل کهگیلویه و بویراحمد محسوب می‌شود. درون‌مایه اصلی فیلم، آماده‌سازی بلوط برای تهیه نان است. فیلم تلاش دارد تا فرآیند جمع‌آوری، آماده‌سازی و مصرف بلوط را در میان عشایر کهگیلویه و بویراحمد به تصویر بکشد. این روند بخشی از سبک زندگی و معیشت سنتی ایل است که در چارچوب تقسیم کار فصلی میان اعضای جامعه عشایری انجام می‌شود.بلو‌ط را می‌توان سرآغاز قوم‌پژوهی علمی در سینمای مستند ایران دانست. نادر افشار نادری نخستین پژوهشگری بود که زندگی مردم کهگیلویه و بویراحمد را ثبت و به دنیا معرفی کرد. مستند او پایه‌ای برای تحقیقات مردم‌نگارانه بعدی شد و درک نوینی از فرهنگ، کار و معیشت عشایر ایرانی ارائه داد.

در فیلم، فعالیت‌هایی مانند چیدن بلوط، کوبیدن، خیساندن، آسیاب کردن و در نهایت پختن نان به نمایش گذاشته شده است. این فرآیند نه‌تنها بازتاب‌دهنده معیشت و اقتصاد سنتی عشایر است، بلکه به شکلی نمادین، ارتباط انسان با طبیعت و اتکا به منابع بومی را نیز بیان می‌کند.

فیلم‌برداری عمدتاً با نماهای عمومی انجام شده و کمتر به جزئیات زندگی عشایری پرداخته است، اما تصاویری از چهره و دستان پرتلاش عشایر به فیلم ارزش زیبایی‌شناختی ویژه‌ای بخشیده است.

The documentary Baloot (Oak) 1968, directed by Nader Afshar Naderi, is one of the most significant works in Iranian ethnographic cinema. Nader Afshar Naderi, a distinguished Iranian anthropologist, has also produced other films on Iranian ethnography. This film was part of a comprehensive social study project on the provinces of Kohgiluyeh, conducted under his supervision and with the collaboration of a team of researchers. The findings of this research were eventually published in nine volumes.

This documentary is not merely a visual work but serves as a tool for recording and preserving the cultural heritage of the Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad tribal people. The central theme of the film is the preparation of acorns for making bread. It attempts to depict the process of collecting, preparing, and consuming acorns among the nomads of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad. This practice is an integral part of the traditional livelihood and lifestyle of the tribe, carried out within the framework of seasonal labor division among the members of the nomadic community.

Baloot can be regarded as the starting point of scientific ethnographic research in Iranian documentary cinema. Nader Afshar Naderi was the first researcher to document and introduce the lives of the people of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad to the world. His documentary laid the foundation for subsequent ethnographic studies and offered a new understanding of the culture, labor, and livelihood of Iranian nomads.

The film showcases activities such as collecting acorns, pounding, soaking, grinding, and finally baking bread. This process not only reflects the traditional economy and subsistence practices of the nomads but also symbolically illustrates the connection between humans and nature and their reliance on local resources.

The cinematography primarily consists of wide shots and rarely delves into the intricate details of nomadic life. However, the occasional close-ups of the nomads’ faces and their hardworking hands add a unique aesthetic value to the film.
