The Drag Demonstration is a component of the Private Pilot & Commercial Multi Engine check rides and is also on the MEI check ride. This video shows my approach to flying it in a DA42 VI.
00:00 Introduction
02:09 In the plane
04:29 Flying with the failed engine prop windmilling
06:20 Flying with the failed engine prop feathered
07:06 Flying at speeds different than Vyse
09:39 Flying with the gear extended

I hope you find these videos helpful to see what it is like to perform these procedures and maneuvers. However keep in mind they only scratch the surface. For more detail, you should dig into these Airman Certification Standards (ACS):
• FAA-S-ACS-6B (Change 1) Private Pilot Certification Standards
• FAA-S-ACS-7A Commercial Pilot Certification Standards
• FAA-S-ACS-25 Flight Instructor for Airplane Category Airman Certification Standards
In these videos, my main goal is to share what it’s like to fly these maneuvers in a Twin Diamond. I hope you enjoy them. Please LIKE, SHARE and SUBSCRIBE if you do!
