The new RV slide system “Sure slide”, will it replace schwintek???

We all know schwintek slide rooms have been a headache for EVERYONE in the rv industry. Up until now (hopefully), the only thing I can do it keep replacing them. After looking at this new system it does appear to be a direct replacement for those with existing rooms. Time will tell, for now it looks like it’s definitely far better engineered and built. After filming I did obtain a bit more info. For starters, it will be using a wall clamp system, which will ensure that the columns cannot twist. This is huge because this has been a big problem with its predecessor. Again, I know this is not the schwintek 2, but it might as well be.  Another big change again helping with the twisting, the bottom plate that retains the rollers also has two channels for the column to lock into. And the system, you are also able to access the motor sets through from both the inside and outside. So if the room does get jammed up and needs to be manually pushed, it doesn’t matter if the room is in or out. Being that this was a demo unit, I was not able to determine what was changed with the bearing blocks or Gibbs. From what I can see the Gibbs have been removed altogether, but again I cannot confirm that. The documentation that LCI is currently providing is very vague. I am working with LCI to hopefully be able to provide you some more information on the system soon.
