Inside a Winning Warm-Up | Oundle Golf Club | British Junior Golf 2024

Welcome to Round 5 at Oundle Golf Club, filmed on tournament day for the British Junior Golf Tour 2024 — and the warm-up that led to Shane’s third win of the season.

Filmed right on the course before heading to the first tee, this warm-up routine focused on building confidence and rhythm across every part of the game:
• Long game work dialling in woods, irons, and distance control
• Putting practice for pace and line
• Short game drills including a clean chip-in
• Back to the range for more long game shots
• Finishing with putting to settle into tournament tempo

All the training and discipline put in at his home course with coach Andy Thorburn paid off — and the preparation showed on the scorecard.
And of course… win or lose, it’s always about enjoying the game.
Even after securing the victory, Shane went straight back out for more putting, more fun, and more development. Because golf is a sport — but it’s also joy.
