Context: Nick discovered that Frank Newburg molested both of his daughters, including Wendy. This revelation came to Nick from Frank, which meant Nick couldn't tell anyone, lest he break attorney-client privilege. Nick tried an anonymous call to a sexual abuse hotline, in hopes that they could launch an investigation, but the judge was on the verge of shutting it down here.
