In the summer of 2012, high school sophomore’s Isabelle ‘Issy’ Galloway and Zane Curtis fell deeply in love. Though they were from opposite sides of the tracks, their love for one another defied everything. But with a controlling father, a high-end surgeon, Derek Galloway, their love for one another will be broken, when he finds out about his life and his families past, setting up a burglary just have Zane and his older brother Rocco arrested, and to stop his daughter from now dating a ‘criminal’.

Now, ten years later, Issy and Zane cross paths once more after seeking him out. But with the troubles of his past, and her feelings of her overcontrolling father, Issy finds herself withdrawing with the fear of being hurt once more. But with the guidance of her best friend Becca, they realise that everything they thought they knew about each other, their passion and love for one another is just too much to leave behind. But can both his past and her father ruin everything for the two lovers, with Derek even resulting to measures that could lead down a dark path?
