For this Dementia and Housing Working Group (DHWG)-supported HAPPI Hour, which comes a year on from the Older People’s Housing Taskforce report calling for age-friendly, dementia inclusive, faith and culturally sensitive homes and communities, Pozzoni Architecture sharie the latest examples of new dementia-friendly housing designs.
In addition, we hear from Foundations - the national umbrella body for Home Improvement Agencies (HIA) - about adapting existing homes for dementia, alongside Accent Housing sharing their dementia-friendly adaptations service.
The Housing LIN proudly hosts the DHWG online and co-organises dementia-focused HAPPI Hour sessions year-round.
If you’d like to discuss any of the themes from this HAPPI Hour and explore how the Housing LIN's consultancy, research, and advisory services can support your organisation’s needs, please contact our advisory team at: [email protected]
