Strange clicking sounds and intermittent tape slack at the pinch roller can be the cause of a faulty takeup reel in 711B3 super and ED Betas with capstan driven reel tables. In this video I help one of my viewers with his EDV8000 to determine what the cause could be of a malfunctioning reel table by using my test SL-330 to replicate the issue and find a remedy.
This appies to Sony super Beta vcrs from 1987 to 1990: SL-300, SL-330, SL-HF360, SL-810D, SL-S600.
