Before moving to Utah in 1984, this Schwarzkopf double looper originally opened in 1981 as a traveling coaster on the German fair circuit. It was simply called Colossus at first, but The Fire Dragon was later added so there would be no confusion between it and Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
