Instead of using column notes in Google Sheets use Convert to Table in Coda [Tutorial]

When you need to explain what different things mean in a column using a note in the column header (in Google Sheets), people have to hover over the column header to read what each thing means. If something about your list of data changes, you'll have to edit the column header note. Or you might create a key or legend explaining what each thing means.

Instead, Coda has a simple Convert to Table feature which converts your column into a unique table and it turns your column into a dropdown. The relationship between the two tables is set up automatically.
