Titan Submersible Simulation (Implosion + Sinking)

This is a structural simulation of the last moments of the Titan submersible, which tragically imploded during its descent to the Titanic wreck in the North Atlantic Ocean. The simulation code is based on the one developed for the ARA San Juan submarine, with several improvements.

The main enhancement concerns the time scaling: unlike in the ARA San Juan simulation, for the moment of implosion a significantly smaller timestep is used—about 1000 times smaller—to capture the rapid dynamics accurately. The rest of the simulation runs in real time.
