Almost 1 million displaced Rohingya men, women and children from Myanmar live in the world’s largest, most densely populated refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. It’s been almost two years since the massive influx of refugees arrived here in August 2017. As conflict continues in Myanmar, it’s unlikely that the Rohingya will be repatriated any time soon.
The Rohingya refugee crisis remains a protection crisis. While providing life-sustaining humanitarian assistance, World Vision continues to advocate for the protection of refugees’ rights, including their voluntary, safe and dignified repatriation to Myanmar. The documentary follows Nur's family, as they grapple with the challenges of being displaced, defining their new normal but still waiting in anticipation to go back to the place they once called home.
