In this video, I visited the hometown of Yap Ah Loy, the 3rd Kapital China of kuala Lumpur, who laid foundation for Kuala Lumpur to emerge as what it's today. The Ye clan started from a group of 60 people who migrated to Danshui in south Guangdong Province in 1662. Today the clansmen are estimated between 30,000 to 50,000. Many are in Malaysia. In the video, I showed you the different Hakka walled houses the Ye (Yap) clan built in Danshui in south Guangdong Province as well as telling you the interesting story of how the Ye (Yap) clan migrated to and settled down in Danshui.
