CEE with support from Pune Municipal Corporation developed Pashan Lake Interpretation Centre to emphasize the role of urban biodiversity in the city’s wellness and capacity building of individuals to uphold the responsibility towards conserving natural resources through individual and collective action.
CEE with inputs from Shri Kiran Purandare created a waterhole as a demonstration site to document a scientific method which requires little space and can be easily prepared within half a day with minimal resources available locally and could be adapted by large educational institutes or those interested. The highlights of the video are snippets of bird calls by Mr Purandare which were music to the ears of the attendees.
