QUICK RIP: Vintage Dell Laptop | eWaste Breakdown

Hey Yardminers! We were doing an inventory clean out and could not find a buyer for a lot of these untested laptops, so today we’re going to be breaking down this vintage Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop that was released in the early 2000s.

In general, we don’t really make a habit of breaking down laptops, especially the new ones, as the juice just isn’t worth the squeeze. Often there are two many screws, and electronic components in a laptop are packed tightly making them hard to deconstruct. But some of the old ones have a good amount of vintage chips in them and really good gold threads, so sometimes you get lucky.
