Seven Special Somethings: A Nowruz Story - Story Time

Nowruz is the celebration of the Persian New Year. This year, it's celebrated on March 20. Follow along as Children's Museum Houston educator, Iliana, reads "Seven Special Somethings: A Nowruz Story" by Adib Khorram - the story of a young boy on a quest to find seven special somethings that start with "S" to make a new haft-seen and bring joy in the new year.

A haft-seen is an arrangement of seven symbolic items whose names start with the letter "س" pronounced as "seen" the 15th letter in the Persian alphabet; haft is Persian for seven.
