First impression after a few days with the 7Artisans 75mm f1.25 M mount, and man… this one confused me in the best way. I picked it up out of curiosity, expecting the usual “cute but not serious” vibe from third-party glass. Instead, it surprised me big time. The rendering, the falloff, the way it draws wide open… it actually made me rethink my bias toward only Leica or Japanese lenses.
This is not the full review. I’m still shooting it on the Leica M11, M11P and M-EV1, testing it in low light, portraits and some street moments. But so far, this lens shows character, sharpness when you need it, and a unique signature I didn’t expect at this price point.
