This is a stunning hike located between Banff and Lake Louise. You will find the parking lot along the highway 1A, the access to the trail head is now reopened in both directions (From Banff or Castle Junction). The little extra km to the ink pots is totally worth it. Wear your spikes, the trail is very icy in this time of the year. I saw way too many people in their running or dress shoes! Have fun!
