I've been playing around with these replicas of a 1930s microphone and while the results aren't perfect yet, I thought I'd share a build.

I'm trying a new cellophane diaphragm on this one, and it's... not perfect, but here's hoping you guys enjoy the video, and that you enjoy, innovate, and improve upon the materials to make something that sounds amazing.
The weak points here are:
-Diaphragm material
-Tension before putting the ring on
-Button precision
POSSIBLY the granule size.
Improve upon those three things, and I think we'll have a great sounding mic!
