The Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences (AIRESS), in collaboration with the Jean Monnet Policy Debate Network NEAR-ER, hosted an international conference titled “Africa–Europe Relations in an Age of Global Reshuffle: Diverging Visions, Shared Futures” at the UM6P Rabat Campus, from October 20th to 22nd.
The opening ceremony featured remarks by our Dean Karim El Aynaoui and Walter Zampieri, Head of Unit at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, who emphasized the importance of deepening academic and policy dialogue between Africa and Europe.
Across the sessions, participants explored topics ranging from energy, risk, and justice to democracy, rule of law, governance, and security.
