歴史の残り香 鎮魂の杜 崇道神社
京都の北、高野の地に早良親王を祀った崇道神社がある。
早良親王(死後崇道天皇と諡)の怨念鎮魂のための神社と
なっている。その妖気に満ち昼なお暗い境内。雨の日と
もなるとその湿気を含んだ空気はなお古人の無念の怒気
がうごめいていた。
A lingering scent of history:
Sudo Shrine, A place of repose
North of Kyoto, in the Takano region, stands Sudo Shrine,
dedicated to Prince Sawara.The shrine is dedicated to
the repose of the Prince's (posthumously named Emperor
Sudo) grudge. The grounds are filled with an eerie aura,
dark even in the daytime. On rainy days, the humid air
still simmers with the anger and resentment of the ancients.
