We boarded the ferry in Southworth, Washington for a 30-minute ride to Vashon. Island. It's the only way to get to the Island other than airplane. Reservations for the ferry is highly recommended.
Oscar The Bird King troll is one of the installations in Danish artist Thomas Dambo's " Way of the Bird King" exhibition. Towering over a grove of trees on Vashon Island's Point Robinson Park. Oscar is both whimsical and magnificent to behold.
Bainbridge Island/ Pia the Peacekeeper,
We drove to Bainbridge Island to visit Pia. She is 18-feet tall troll made from recycled wood residing in Sakai Park . She is a must see while on Bainbridge Island.
