Sculpting The Pink Foam Layer Cake

I decided to break up making the back hill scene into multiple parts as I wanted to show, in near real time, how quickly you can go from a layer of foam to a rough-formed shape. I prefer using the extruded polystyrene insulation, green/blue/pink stuff, over the expanded polystyrene. Mostly because the expanded stuff, made of a bunch of tiny balls, generally is a lot rougher of a surface and makes more of a mess when trying to work with it. But both work equally well in this application.

Liquid Nails For Projects (LN-700) or Titebond 2 can be obtained at most large retail hardware stores. Both work equally well, just make sure to give them at least a day or longer to dry before you attempt to do any scenery work.
