Making Handmade Soba Noodles in Japan 🇯🇵

In this video, I got to experience the beautiful art of making handmade soba noodles in Japan. From mixing the buckwheat flour to kneading, rolling, and cutting the noodles by hand, it was such a calming and grounding process that gave me a whole new appreciation for this traditional dish. It was incredible to learn just how much care and technique goes into every bowl of soba. Catarina is standing where she is going to make the soba noodles and is wearing a red sweater, glasses, and her hair pulled into a ponytail. There is a cutting board with a roller and a bowl of flour on the side. Catarina, her partner, and the instructor are standing around the table. Catarina is kneading the dough with her hands. The instructor then helps her roll is out with the rolling pin. The instructor rolls it into a thin pancake and then demonstrates how to cut the noodles with the special soba noodle knife.
