In this video, I showcase a project from my 4th Year, 2nd Semester (BSc)*, completed on September 15, 2021. The focus of this project was on *extracting specific frequency components from electrode signals using a unique approach with a 10th-order Chebyshev LC filter and a relay system.
Project Overview:
Chebyshev LC Filter: A 10th-order Chebyshev filter was used to achieve a *sharp frequency band*, essential for isolating specific components of the electrode signal.
Filter-Relay Combination: By pairing the LC filter with a relay, I was able to restore the original signal shape while removing amplitude ripples, resulting in a cleaner output than what a single filter could achieve.
Improved Performance: The experiment demonstrated that the Filter-Relay combination is more effective than using a single filter for sharp frequency band extraction, offering greater signal accuracy and stability.
This project taught me about advanced filtering techniques and the importance of precise component selection in signal processing. If you're interested in signal processing, frequency filtering, or practical applications of LC filters, this video provides insight into creating and optimizing filter circuits for complex signals.
