Season's Greetings from Dead Tenors' Society!
During the month of December, Dead Tenors' Society will be featuring recordings of Holiday favorites and sacred music sung by the great tenors of the past. Legendary Swedish tenor Jussi Björling (1911-1960) sings “Se i miei sospiri” (a.k.a. “Pietà, Signore”) by François-Joseph Fétis. This was recorded during a radio broadcast from the Concert Palace in Bergen, Norway on June 9, 1954, with the Bergen Symphony Orchestra led by Carl von Garaguly.
