This DION is Dion Di Mucci, the very same man who rose to fame in the early 1960s as the leader of Dion and the Belmonts. After his success faded, in the second half of the decade, Dion shifted his musical style to folk and blues rock. This song, written by him and Tony Fasce, is a shining testimony to that period, even if it was relegated to the B-side of a single and not included on an album. Great folk rock from the '60s, anyway.
