This is the Durham Police Recruiting “applicant testing” version of the North Carolina Police Officer’s Physical Abilities Test (POPAT). The POPAT consists of two scenarios – the “Chase and Apprehension” and the “Rescue”. Both scenarios have time limits and must be completed as described in the video. They consist of multiple physical activities, to include running, jumping, pushups, bag rolls, a dummy drag and more. Please use this video as a training guide, to prepare you for testing success!
