Serves 5-6
Recipe in English:
**Ingredients For yakhni-*
-Beef paye-2
-water as required
-lehsan(garlic) 1 bunch
piyaz(onion)1
-Hari mirch (Green chilli) -3-4
Sabut Lal mirch(Red chilli) 6
-Namak(salt)1tsp
sukha dhania(corriander) 1tsp
zeera(cumin seed)1tsp
ajwain(carom seed)1/4tsp
Direction:
-in a pot add all ingredients tat above mentioned and cook on low flame untill paye tender(almost 4 hours)
-after it tender keep separate paye and stock.
Ingredients for Salan:
-
-Cooking oil (Tail)4 TBS
-Mix garam masala 1TBS
-lehsan (garlic ) 2 tbs
-Tomatoes(tamater) 2
-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tbs or to taste
-Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) 1 tsp
-Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 tsp
-Namak (Salt) ½ tbs or to taste
-water as required
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1-2 tbs
-Hari mirch (Green chilli)
-Adrak (Ginger) julienne
-Hari mirch (Green chilli) sliced
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
Directions:
-add garam masala in oil and let it it crackle then add garlic that we save from stock.
-add tomatoes and all spices and fry for 3 minutes.add water if required during frying
-add paye and let it fry untill 10 minutes.
-at this point add stock and cook on medium heat for 30 minutes.
-garnish with fresh chopped corriander.green chillues and ginger slice.
-add a pinch of dried fenugreek leaves.
**Beef paye is ready to serve.**
