Glue Pot Disaster (The Best Glue Pot???)

This was not a happy surprise. At the end of a busy day I was cleaning up and moving things around on my workbench. Then this adds an hour to my day. It is/was my favorite glue pot by T-S-Boy. The T-S-Boy 0.9 liter Glue Pot made in Germany is sold for use with water based as well as solvent based adhesives. I love how the auto feed feature of this glue pot works. Yet, how can I trust the glue pot after this. T-S-Boy 0.9 liter Glue Pots are sold through many of the leather supply companies. I reached out to Springfield Leather and they did not even hesitate or make me ask them to replace the T-S-Boy Glue Pot. They apologized for the issue and said they would send a replacement unit right out.
I guess I will trust it again. Well kind of trust the glue pot. I will get a disposable aluminum baking tray to place it in while not using it. I will keep everyone updated on how using the T-S-Boy glue pot goes when I get the replacement one. Thanks for following along on my leather working and YouTube adventure.
