Now about the run
I do some checkpoint navigation at the start to allow me to perform a delayed lap count (DLC) and start the lap on the outside seam
The main challenge is making it over to the seam because of some challenging blocks, however most of these are possible with some simple wallclips. The supergrind into the clip back up to the road was very precise as the OOB reaches up partially to the floor that I clip off of and it forces me to get a high enough ejection to clip above it. After that I do some seam riding to make it to the spot for the ultra.
You might have noticed that I don't use one of my mushrooms
I originally thought that getting up to the road (the road that I used a supergrind ejection clip for) and getting onto the seam below after would both require a shroom (I initially used magikruiser for this run because its offroad stat still allowed me to perform the ultra on the seam with no shrooms), however after some testing with spear I found that it got high enough ejections to do the first part shroomless. That left me with a spare shroom to perform the ultra which is how I originally routed my run. But while trying to jump to the seam below, I found that the spear couldn't land without respawning because of its poor drift (I didn't have this issue with magi). This lead me to try a different angle with a superslide which lead me to accidently make it shroomless, leaving me with a useless shroom because I don't want much XZ speed when falling so I can fall faster.
also the checkpoint display was done manually by me which is why it isn't perfect
i wonder if waluigi is optimal
