Parranda on the Hill in Paramin is an annual Christmas-season event in Trinidad and Tobago. It’s a festive celebration featuring traditional Venezuelan-style Parranda music, which is popular in Paramin due to the community’s French and Spanish heritage. During the event, live bands perform on the hillside with cuatro, guitars, maracas, and drums, and visitors enjoy food, dancing, and the scenic views of the mountains and the city lights below.
This is the 16th year of the event.
