The Pond Bros met over a shared love of wrestling and food. Since then they've become the best of friends. However, they each had a dream. AJ Slambino, an American wrestling veteran, had never had the chance to wrestle in front of a UK crowd. And Goonie Dad (now wrestling as Old Skool Paul) had never set foot in a wrestling ring before. At TDW's first show in May 2025, they each got the chance to make each other's dream a reality. However, The Showtime Darlings were determined to turn those dreams into nightmares.
