Não há dúvida de que o futuro do setor está no equilíbrio harmonioso entre conforto, exclusividade e sustentabilidade e o novo The Lince Santa Clara, em Vila do Conde, afirma-se como um exemplo nesse caminho. Neste episódio da série “Sustainable Destination” começamos por visitar este hotel de cinco estrelas que nasceu recentemente a partir da reconversão do Mosteiro de Santa Clara, e que procura unir o legado histórico à sofisticação contemporânea. O diretor do hotel, Gilberto Rodrigues, mostra-nos como uma unidade de luxo pode também ser sustentável através da implementação de boas práticas. Mas porque hoje há também cada vez mais turistas a procurar outro tipo de luxo - o luxo da simplicidade e de estar em contacto com a natureza – mergulhamos de seguida no interior do país. Vamos à descoberta de um projeto de turismo ecológico que faz do bem-estar uma prioridade: o Tinhela 610. A norte-americana Holly Niemela, juntamente com o marido, construiu em Trás-os-Montes um verdadeiro retiro na natureza, que nos convida a reconectar com o nosso interior e a ganhar consciência sobre a importância dos pequenos gestos diários para a regeneração do planeta.

There is no doubt that the future of the sector lies in the harmonious balance between comfort, exclusivity and sustainability and the new The Lince Santa Clara, in Vila do Conde, is an example of this. In this episode of the "Sustainable Destination" series, we begin by visiting this Portuguese five-star hotel, which was recently born from the conversion of the Santa Clara Monastery, and which seeks to unite historical legacy with contemporary sophistication. The hotel's director, Gilberto Rodrigues, shows us how a luxury unit can also be sustainable by implementing good practices. But because today there are also more and more tourists looking for another kind of luxury - the luxury of simplicity and of being in contact with nature - we then delve into the interior of Portugal.
