Watch Live: Defendants in the Kansas moms case being brought to court
In the tragic case of the Kansas murdered moms, newly released court documents shed light on the alleged murder-kidnapping. Tifany Adams Machel Adams, the paternal grandmother of Butler’s children, and her boyfriend Tad Bert Cullum were arrested. Also apprehended were Cora Twombly and her husband, Cole Earl Twombly
All four face charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping, and conspiracy to commit murder.
Butler was embroiled in a custody battle with Adams’ son over her two children.
Adams, the grandmother, had legal custody of the kids, leading to tension between the families.
Previous recordings revealed death threats made by Adams and her boyfriend, Tad Cullum.
On March 30, the day of the disappearance, Kelley was set to supervise Butler’s court-ordered custody exchange with Adams. Adams claimed Butler canceled the exchange, but investigators found evidence near the abandoned vehicle in rural Oklahoma.
Blood stains and Butler’s glasses were discovered, hinting at severe injury.
The Twomblys, allegedly members of an anti-government group called “God’s Misfits”, were implicated alongside Adams and Cullum.
An unnamed teen reported their potential involvement to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. She was something and said something! Thank you!
