Our RV Bike Rack Snapped! Here's What Happened at

S2E22 - September 2025
Our September getaway continues as we make our way to Riverwalk RV Park on the Yadkin River in Jonesville, North Carolina!

The trip started with a laugh — Tony took the wheel for the first time in two years… and pulled our ‪@alliancerv‬ Paradigm 310RL, a whopping 20 feet from the gas pump to the parking spot at a Love’s Travel Stop. Baby steps, right? 😅

But things took a turn when we arrived and discovered our RV bike rack support had failed — our bikes were leaning nearly 45 degrees and barely hanging on! Time to problem-solve and find a rack sturdy enough to handle not just our cruisers, but our new Lectric XP 4.0 eBikes too.

We spent a full week at Riverwalk, walking the dogs along the river (and around the park… several times a day), battling way too many stink bugs, and soaking up the peaceful scenery before the weekend rush filled every campsite. We even got a surprise visit from Lynn and Nancy from West Virginia and reconnected with old friends of Larry’s who live nearby.

Before we packed up and headed to ‪@talonaridge‬ RV Resort in East Ellijay, Georgia, we finally found the perfect bike rack solution for our setup — and we can’t wait to share what we learned.
