In Edison format, following the March 2010 Yugioh banlist, similar to what was played at SJC Edison the 75th YCS in the history of Yu-Gi-Oh Synchro summoning was prevalent. But there were also components from previous eras of Yu-Gi-Oh.

Or Perhaps Yu-Gi-Oh GX with Jaden Yuki, Zane Truesdale, Alexis Rhodes, Jesse Anderson, Syruys Truesdale, Dr Vellian Crowler, Aster Phoenix, Chazz Princeton. And all of their iconic monsters such as Elemental Hero Flame Wingman, the Destiny HEROES, Crystal Beast, Cyber Dragon, Ancient Gear Golem, Yubel, Ojama brothers such as Ojama Red, Ojama Blue, Ojama Green, Ojama Black, Ojama Yellow and eventually the Sacred Beasts such as Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, Raviel, Lord of Phantasms and Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder. at the Duelist Academy? In the Yugioh 5ds anime Crow Hogan used his Blackwing monsters and Signer dragon to overcome adversaries and duel with the other characters like Yusei Fudo and his Stardust Dragon, Jack Atlas and his Red Dragon Archfiend, Akiza Izinski and her Black Rose Dragon, Luna and her Ancient Fairy Dragon, Leo and his Power Tool Dragon and eventually Life Stream Dragon.
