🌞 Indoor Cycling Video 🌞 Late Summer Cycling: Zirbenland "Schnapps Country" - Obdach to Weisskirchen.

This ride is part five of a series where we cycle from Gemmersdorf to the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Steiermark.

Part 5: A late summer cycling trip in Zirbenland, Steiermark (Styria), beginning in the village of Obdach at the foot of the Zirbitzkogel mountain (2396m). We continue on the R26: Zirbenlandradweg (Swiss Stone Pine Country Cycle path) along forested paths, then skirt the Obdacher Strasse through the village of Eppenstein in Murtal (River Mur valley). Eppenstein is known for the medieval Eppenstein Castle which was constructed around 1000 AD and rebuilt in a gothic style around 1478, but today only ruins remain.
Leaving Eppenstein behind, we venture through Styrian pastures and arrive at the picturesque village of Weisskirchen with its beautiful Parish Church.
