oparim varza si desfacem foile una cate una, taiem cotoarele fiecarei foi de varza
le impachetam cate 4-5 foi ca pe sarmale si le asezam in borcane
foile care nu sunt perfecte le maruntim si impreuna cu cotoarele maruntite le punem in alt borcan
umplem borcanele cu apa
golim apa intr-un recipient si o masuram
50 gr sare grunjoasa pentru muraturi pentru fiecare litru de apa
dupa ce dizolvam sarea in apa, umplem borcanele, acoperind varza cu apa sarata, adaugam marar uscat, inchidem borcanele cu capace si le lasam la murat. Dupa cateva saptamani avem foile de varza murate, gata sa fie impachetate pentru sarmale.
Cabbage Leaves for Cabbage Rolls in a Jar
1 white cabbage
blanch the cabbage and separate the leaves one by one, cut off the spines of each cabbage leaf
wrap them 4-5 leaves at a time like Cabbage Rolls and place them in jars
shred the leaves that are not perfect and put them in another jar together with the shredded spines
fill the jars with water
empty the water into a container and measure it
50 g coarse salt for pickling for each liter of water
after dissolving the salt in the water, fill the jars, covering the cabbage with salted water, add dried dill, close the jars with lids and leave them to pickle. After a few weeks we have the pickled cabbage leaves, ready to be wrapped for Cabbage Rolls.
