Mahindra XUV 300 is going to take on the Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Maruti Suzuki’s Vitara Brezza. This sub-4 metre SUV is based on Ssangyong’s Tivoli. But, it has been shortened to fit the 4-metre rule. After the KUV100 the XUV300 will be the next sub-4m SUV from Mahindra with a monocoque chassis. It is a striking looking SUV and is packed with class-leading features. The XUV300 will go on sale on 14th of February.

Expect the Mahindra XUV 300 prices to range from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.

Mahindra XUV300 Variants:-
It will be offered in three variants - W4, W6 and W8. An option variant on the top end version will bring in all the safety and feel good features like the electrically operated sunroof. Class leading features include all-wheel disc brakes, front parking sensors, seven-airbags dual-zone climate control, heated ORVMs, adjustable headrests for all three occupants in the rear seat and a three-point seatbelt for the middle passenger.

The XUV 300 will be offered with two engines - 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.5 litre turbocharged diesel. The petrol makes 110PS of power and 200NM of torque, while the diesel makes 115PS of power and 300NM of torque. Both engines will be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission. Automatic transmissions will not be offered at launch and four-wheel drive is also not on the cards. It’s ground clearance of 180mm will also keep it from tackling too much of the rough stuff. Official fuel efficiency figures are not available now.
The XUV300 will be available in a host of colours including a bright red and a dark green.
