My cost of living so far with being back in Vietnam. I cover visas, apartment rents, phantom costs, food prices and more. I compare it to what I was spending to live in Bangkok. Nothing fancy, but not on a budget either.

That's it for my breakdown on the cost of living in Saigon vs Bangkok. Overall I'm quite surprised my food costs are 50% of what they were in Bangkok. This is a huge savings, but this savings does doe into my visa runs. There are ways to do visa runs super cheap, go and come back the same day. But I do like to take a 2-3 week trip. Depends on your situation.

Saigon is overall awesome. Such a nice city to live in, not as exciting or busy as Bangkok. More of a place to relax and get to work.
