The Isle of May, a nature reserve located in the Firth of Forth (around 8K off the mainland), is home to enormous numbers of seabirds, including guillemots, cormorants, razorbills, kittiwakes and - of course - puffins.
On a bright and calm day in May, Nikki and I took a trip over with the Scottish Seabird Centre, based in North Berwick. Unbelievably neither of us were pooped on.
This short clip was filmed on an iPhone 11 using a little bit of FiLMiC Pro, and a little bit of the iPhone camera, with a Moment telephoto lens in parts. Edited in Davinci Resolve 17.
